Bill and I went to Las Trampas regional park yesterday. The first time for both of us- nice place! We noticed there was an Eagle Peak on the map and since that namesake is a favorite on Mt Diablo we decided to try it. A 3.6 mile loop the included a short but steep out and back to the peak. Still a lot of green grass and I was surprised at how many wild flowers were still in bloom. There were several wet areas and it seemed like the water source was clouds misting in foliage near ridge tops.
